23. Eggshells
"Eggshells" is a card that invites you to explore the delicate dance between vulnerability and resilience, as symbolized by a young girl cautiously navigating her way through a path covered with eggshells. Her spirit is unyielding, and she refuses to let the constraints of her environment define her. With each footfall, she inches closer to the threshold of possibility, where an enchanted forest awaits her. The forest, shrouded in mystery and magic, represents the limitless potential for growth, healing, and transformation.
The card invites you to reflect on the challenges and constraints you faced in your childhood. It encourages you to acknowledge the delicate dance you had to perform to protect your innocence and navigate the complexities of your environment. Like the little girl, you possess a remarkable strength and determination to overcome any obstacles that may have shaped your past.
The "Eggshells" card serves as a gentle reminder that healing and growth are possible, even amidst adversity. It urges you to embrace the resilience of your inner child and recognize the power within you to create your path. Just as the little girl steps into an enchanted forest, you too have the opportunity to embark on a transformative journey, where you can discover the magic that lies within and forge your own destiny.
With this card, trust in your ability to overcome challenges, and let the enchantment of the forest guide you to a place of healing, self-discovery, and the rekindling of your inner child's spirit.

Journal Prompts:
-Reflect on a time when you felt vulnerable but found strength within yourself. How did you navigate through that experience?
-Write about a belief or fear that is holding you back. How can you challenge it and break free from it?
-Explore a recent situation where you felt uncomfortable or uncertain. What did you learn from it and how can you grow from that experience?
-Describe a moment in your life where you felt loved and accepted for who you are. How can you cultivate more of that in your life?
-Write about a goal or dream that feels intimidating or risky. What steps can you take to move closer to it, despite any fears or doubts?
Remember, affirmations and journaling can be powerful tools for self-reflection and healing, but it's important to listen to your own intuition and adapt them to suit your unique journey.
Loving-Kindness Meditation:
1. Sit in a comfortable position and close your eyes if you'd like.
2. Take a few deep breaths, in and out.
3. Then say the following phrases, either aloud or in your mind:
"May I be safe. May I be happy. May I be healthy. May I live with ease."
4. Repeat those phrases slowly and feel the meaning behind them.
5. The next step is extending loving-kindness to others. You can start by thinking of someone you love, perhaps a family member or friend.
6. Then say the same phrases but direct them to that person. You can say: "May (insert their name) be safe. May (insert their name) be happy. May (insert their name) be healthy. May (insert their name) live with ease."
7. Continue to visualize them as you say the phrases.
8. The next step is to consider someone you have neutral feelings about. For example, a cashier at the grocery store or someone you see at the bus stop. Try extending loving-kindness to them as well. “May (insert their name) be happy. May (insert their name) be healthy. May (insert their name) live with ease."
9. The final step is to consider someone who's difficult for you to get along with, perhaps a difficult family member or co-worker. Try extending loving-kindness to that person as well. “May (insert their name) be happy. May (insert their name) be healthy. May (insert their name) live with ease."
10. Return to your breath and thank yourself for taking this time to send out loving-kindness to the people in your life. Carry this feeling with you throughout your day.
